Yang Zuoping
Poet, and a director of the Yang Jianhou Foundation. Son of Yang Jianhou; younger brother of the calligrapher Yang Zuotang.

From childhood he combined literary and scientific interests and turned to writing. His publications include 1,350 poems on the Eighty-seven Immortals scroll (a painting once held by Xu Beihong); sets of name-embedded verse; a collected poems; riddles; and poems written for Yang Zuohua’s dance album. Critics have described his verse as strict in meter, precise in diction, rich in imagination, and far-reaching in meaning. With Yang Zuotang he has also written and inscribed poems after paintings by Yang Jianhou.
