- My younger fellow-student Jingxi, of Jiangsu, is affectionate and devoted to art. In the Guangxi Provincial Art Academy production of Thunderstorm she played Sifeng, naïve and pure, fully in character. I consider her the finest of the whole cast, and record this in admiration.
