The Yang Jianhou Foundation is formed

The Yang Jianhou Foundation was formed on 2 December 2010 as a California nonprofit public benefit corporation (Entity No. 3337244).

The Articles of Incorporation were endorsed and filed with the California Secretary of State on that date. A certified copy is dated 18 December 2010.

The foundation was established to promote knowledge and understanding of the artistic legacy of Yang Jianhou (1910–1993), including the diversity of techniques, mediums, and subject matter the artist explored, and for the public and charitable purposes stated in its articles.
